DAVE G'S STATE CORONER SEASON 1 REVIEW:
In was always going to be hard to beat 'Billy Connolly's Tour Of Australia' and many a cynic would have suggested that UK comedian Ross Noble jumping on a motorbike and driving around Australia while in the middle of a comedy tour reeked of a direct copy of it... but luckily enough for Noble he pulls them off fantastically well and makes you forget that it has all been done before.
There are very few down moments in this series as Noble is constantly hilarious and you can't help but marvel at the way he can rock up to a town, take a look around it, make some gags to camera and then turn up in front of the locals and deliver a whole bunch more jokes aimed at their town. Most of the comedy is off-the-cuff and it surprisingly works. The fact that Noble also gives you a good look around Australia makes this series even more of a must have.
This is a brilliant comedy series that serves as a good travel-documentary.
Funny all the way through, this series won't disappoint.

Summary:
Ross leaves Brisbane. Has a near miss with
an Emu. Visits the Big Prawn, Surfer's Paradise, The Macadamia Nut Castle,
Lismore, Bourke, Broken Hill, Wilcannia, Mildura, Orange World
Dave's Review:
Some truly moments and nobody knows how to make a joke on the spot quite like
Ross Noble. I never thought I would say this but this actually seems funnier
than Billy Connolly's tour of Australia

Summary
Ross visits Griffith, The Big Guitar, Wagga Wagga, Albury, The Big Merino, The
Big Potato, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, Tarree, Canberra.
Dave's Review:
Again some brilliant comedy especially at the expense of Bogans. Also
interesting to note is that you get to see more of Australia with Ross Noble
than you do with most doccos... this series just gets better and better.

Ross visits Bathurst, The Big Orange, Mildura,
Adelaide, Mt. Gambier, The Great Ocean Road, Melbourne, Sale, Bendigo,

Dave's Review:
Again some brilliant humor. While some jokes like 'The Blue Lake' joke drags on,
other jokes such as making fun of Bendigo's statues works brilliantly well.

The funniest episode to date so far.
The jokes about Geelong and Point Pierre are magnificent and will have you in

While the drive-in brothel joke
worked well for the most part the jokes dragged on a bit too much.

Summary
Ross visits Carnarvon, Karratha, Port
Hedland, Darwin, Mount Isa, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Brisbane
Dave's Review:
A great episode to finish off the
season with, even though I thought the ending could have made more of the
magnificent trip that Ross had completed. Funny until the end though, the 'cock'
joke was hilarious.
