MAKING AN IMPACT...

How long have you been performing? Can you tell us a little about your self and your career?

I have been performing for a few years but singing since I was young. I entered talent competitions when I was younger and realized how much I loved performing for people. I have been writing songs for a few years now and love the process of seeing what I write come to life in a studio.

How would you describe your sound?

 It’s a bit of a mix. It’s poppy at times, then rocky at others. There are big ballads with orchestra; there are songs which rock your socks off!

Who are your influences?

 I enjoy the big voices. Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Aretha Franklin, Janice Joplin.

Have you had many gigs recently?

 We had the ep launch recently, it was a fantastic night. We had dancers and staging and put on a great show!

    If you could share a stage with anyone in the world who would you choose?

 I would love to share the stage with so many but I think Pink would be cool haha

What has been your career highlights so far?

 The great people I meet, the fans, other artists, musicians.

If a crowd comes to see you perform live what will they go away remembering?

 They will remember a powerhouse show!

You’ve just released a new EP. What can people expect to hear on it?

 There are 5 songs on the Ep and it’s titled “From You” That is the first track on the ep and I have a video that I recently completed for it also. There is a mix of light and shade, pop and rock!

What was the process like putting together the EP?

  The hardest decision was choosing what songs to put on the ep. I am happy with the outcome.

Where do you hope your career ends up in 2011? What are you short term goals? What are your long term goals?

 Short term I plan on touring Australia and long term, I can only hope to tour further!

Where do you play live so people can come to see you?

 We put on shows at various venues. You can check the websites for upcoming events.

Is there anything else you would like people to know about you?

 I love what I do and want to do it for a very long time! I appreciate all that support from people and hope it keeps coming so that I can keep writing new songs and be heard.
