DAVE GRIFFITHS

DAVE'S BIO

Dave Griffiths (aka Dave G) has worked as a film/music reviewer for more than fifteen years in a range of various media forms including print, radio and television. He is a Senior Writer for The Banner, Buzz Magazine and Mediasearch as well as the host of his own Radio Show. He has also been a special guest on stations such as 3RPP and 3CR. Dave's career in TV began as an actor but after graduating he begun work at Southern TV Inc where he initially begun as a production assistant on programs such as 'On The Couch', 'Pathways', 'On The Water' and 'Level 3'. During his time at STV he rose to the position of Pre-Production Manager during which time he became the Executive Producer and Co-Host (along with Casper Davies & Adriana R) of the popular 'X-Wired'. His last project with STV was the award-winning docco-drama, 'Youth Forum' which he wrote, produced and directed. Dave also co-wrote (with Nadasha Zhang) the pilot for 'Reality' (directed by Jim Stamatakos) which was a finalist in the original Optus 180 Competition.  Dave's work as a screenwriter, director and film reveiwer has seen him become a judge for the Electric Shorts Film Festival and the annual AFI Awards. Dave is also member of his local council's 'Arts & Cultural Reference Group' and has recently returned to theatre-writing accepting the position of Writer In Residence with Centrestage. He is also a proud AFCA member.

GREG'S BIO

Greg is a talented screenwriter whose knowledge of comics is second to none. A long time comic book fan, Greg enjoys reading DC Vertigo and Independent Sci-Fi related comics. When he says a comic is good... you can trust him! He is also a passionate film connoisseur and when he isn't watching films he is writing them. He is a published writer who plays have been professionally performed. Greg is a regular at Melbourne Film Events and is an avid supporter of Australian films and filmmakers as well as of locally producer television programs.

LUKE'S BIO

Luke has a Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing and Editing) from Holmesglen TAFE and is a complete genre fanboy. He enjoys scifi, horror, films based on comics, arthouse, and films with spectacular over the top violence. He hopes to one day write the best screenplay ever which inevitably becomes the worst film ever.

Phyll Freeman is one of Australia's most distinguished actresses. She has also worked as a theatre/film reviewer for more years than she cares to admit. Phyll is also a talented screenwriter and novelist, she also is the co-owner of her own Media Company.
